LEx leaders working across the UK to support the communities they represent and serve have been challenged as never before as they navigate a complex and ever-evolving terrain due to the pandemic and ongoing lockdowns. Many continue to work tirelessly on emergency responses, while others move towards strategies for recovery, renewal and ‘building back better’ post-COVID. We know that economic hardship, regional inequity, health and other social inequalities are multiplying, while pre-existing inequities are on the rise, including racial, gender, and class injustices.

LEx CJS Leaders Mobilise to disrupt the unjust Criminal (In)Justice system (CJS)
A dedicated and committed coalition of LEx Movement Members across the UK with Lived Experience of the CJS have mobilised to build the LEx CJS Network. Over the next few months, they will be launching and delivering free online events for ALL LEx Movement Members working across the entire social sector to support communities impacted by the unjust criminal ‘justice’ system.
